GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM) — One of the most recognizable structures in downtown Grand Rapids will soon undergo some major renovations.
There are plans to build a Hilton Homewood Suites Hotel and an apartment complex inside the Waters Building.
The Waters Building was built in 1898. In recent years, it has been a mixed-used facility. The Hilton Hotel will be the third incarnation of the landmark structure.
The new goal is to put more heads in beds while adding to the growth in down town Grand Rapids.
